Brief introduction:

SOLGU has been a pioneer in grooming modern day legal professionals with a multi-disciplinary edge since its inception in 2012. With integrated BA LL. B (Hons), BBA LL. B (Hons). programs having specializations on Corporate Laws, Intellectual Property Law, Criminal Law and Constitutional Law which address the current needs of the industry, state, society and individuals. Staying true to the spirit of innovation and to develop specialized professionals to satisfy the need of emerging market. Infrastructure:


A. Campus: The campus is just opposite to Buddh International Racing Circuit and Jaypee Sports City. The campus is spread over 52 Acres of land. This is campus-II and the campus-I is situated near Knowledge Park-II. The nearest metro station is Pari Chowk, and from there, you can take an auto for Rs. 30. The campus compromises of 4 blocks, including an on- campus Hostel.

B. Library: SOL, Galgotias University consists of a very rich collection of books along with online subscriptions of Legal databases like SSC Online, Lexis Nexis &Manupatra

C. Hostel: It consists of an on-campus 9 floors hostel with a 2-bed set-up in each room. The mess is managed by the French company -Sodexo.



Academics and Faculties:


The course curriculum is very good. Two subjects of BBA and two subjects of law are taught parallel to each other along with moot courts and English for lawyers. The faculty members are very much interactive and caring. Our faculty members are from various famous institutions like BHU, DU, Queens Mary University of London, London School of Economics & Political Science, etc.



Administration and fee structure:


The administration is seen by Dr. Tabrez Ahmad (Pro Vice Chancellor & Dean) who’s listed in the Top-3 lawyer in the Cyber & IP World. The Fees for 5 yrs. Integrated course are Rs. 1,10,000/year.



Cafeteria:


The cafeteria is managed by Hush Management team and have many outlets of home-grown brands.



Student culture and activities:


Galgotias conducts one of the grandest unifests all over NCR. The School of Law compromises of many committees runed by both Faculties & students, as their Convenors. Some of them are GU-SoL Cultural Committee, Media & PR Committee, Trail Advocacy Committee, Moot Court Society, Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee, Placement & Internship Cell, etc.



Placement:


Though the School of Law is the newest section of this institution, it does have its own placement cell which is very much networked. Galgotias University offers the best placements in the whole NCR region. Internships are also provided at the end of every semester, from 2nd semester onwards via Placement Committee.
