· Brief introduction
Kurukshetra University Ranked 1st in Haryana and Geeta Institute of Law ranked 36th in the top law school by India Today. Ranked as the 12th Best Law School by GHRDC and 27th best Law School in all of India, Geeta group Of Institutions (GGI) has been imparting legal education for over 100 years. Located in Haryana, the college is dedicated to providing high quality education to those who want to enter the legal profession and leave a mark. The college boasts highly qualified and experienced teaching staff along with guest faculty from colleges like NLS.

For a long time, the law school was being shared with the education school. The law school is 5 stories with the canteens, moot court hall, seminar hall, auditorium and an AV room. The classrooms are big accommodated with projectors. The campus also has a gym and a sports room for the students. There is elevator facility for the old people and the disabled.
The library is 3 stories with an e-resource room and a common room for discussions. It is very well stocked with not just law books but also newspapers, journals, magazines as well. The library also has a subscription to Manupatra and Supreme Court Cases (SCC) Online.
The hostel also from the college. However, college buses are available for the students. The hostel is shared with the dental students as well. The hostel for the girls and boys are separate. However, they share the same canteen which is open from morning to night. The hostels have double sharing and triple sharing rooms and refreshment facilities like gym, basketball court, badminton court on the outside and table tennis, caroom and chess on the inside.
· Academics and Faculties
The faculty at Geeta Institute of Law is highly qualified and experienced. The professors are very student friendly and are always willing to listen to the students and give them a chance to bring a new perspective. Students are always welcome to discuss anything with them at any hour during or outside the class hours. When it comes to academics, the college is very strict about it. Students are given research-based assignments in order to inculcate critical thinking in them. The college offers courses in BA.LLB and BBA.LLB for 5 years and 3-year LLB, LLM along with certificate courses.
· Administration and fee structure
The fee structure for the various courses are listed below BA.LLB/ BBA.LL (5 years) - ₹ 1, 05,000 annually; LLB (3 years) - ₹ 47,600 annually; LLM (2 years) - ₹ 59,000 annually.
Other building for the canteen for the students and faculty. The canteen is purely vegetarian and serves a variety of South and North Indian dishes like dosa, idli, upma, aloo paratha, pulao, parathas, roti and daal. Right outside the main canteen is the part where snacks are served like freshly squeezed fruits juices, sandwiches, wraps, rolls, Maggie, pizza, fruit bowls, chips, chocolates and donuts.
· Student culture and activities
The students are often placed in events with the seniors or juniors and as a result of they tend to get along with everyone in the college. The odd semester starts with the Fresher’s arranged by the second year students. This is soon followed by the Ganesh Puja and Ethnic Day where students have a blast with music and crazy dancing. Soon the Annual Fest, Ad Infinatum rolls along with two days of sheer energy and fun. The fest is managed by the students as a whole. Cultural fests, Onam celebrations, Sports week are all a part of the college culture. Moot Court Competitions and International Seminars is also managed by the students as a whole. Coming to the Academic side of things, the college conducts Moot Court Competitions, hosted the prestigious Surana and Surana Moot Court Competitions, Model United Nations, Trial Advocacy, Alternative Dispute Resolutions, Book Talks on a daily basis.
The college has an Internship and Placement Committee that makes sure that the hard work and investment of the students are paid off at the end of their journey. While previously students would go ahead with litigation, recent trends show that the students have gone on to become parts of big law firms in India and abroad.

The best thing about the college has always been the openness that we share with the professors as they are always ready to help us.
· Worst thing
The College does not have large playground.
