Everybody in the office is incredibly welcoming and warm. A house’s all rooms filled with files, records and documents. It’s the common feature of every room there. On the first day of the internship, I was asked to report to the office at 9 am. After waiting for about one hour, associate briefed me about ‘dos’ and ‘don’ts’ of the internship. However, Yuvraj sir gave me all the assignment and he explained to me everything. During my internship time, I had worked on the governance and development (G&D). In my internship period time, I got my personal chamber. The first work I got was to research on the right based legislation for which I had assist sir with relevant status of legislation.

  • Main Task

Once the mentor is allotted to you, now it’s upon your caliber that hoe much you can learn from them. I was lucky throughout my internship as 99% of my work was legal. My work includes supporting the project by conducting secondary and primary research.

Developing reports and presentations that summarize the findings.

The work culture at the organization.

This platform is very helpful to learn something new every day.

Even one project, I learn and participate in it as the fundamental of the law from beginning and end. On special occasions, everyone in the office would be given a delicious treat straight from the office’s pantry.

  • Work environment and peers

All the senior associates were very helpful and really experienced people. They helped me a lot and guided as well. And I am very thankful to them.

  • Stipends

10K per month, so I have earned 30K in my 3 months.

  • Best Thing about the internship

The overall internship experience was good, positive and recommendable. The organization is well- known in the field of rights-based legislation in India and is proactive to participate in many awareness programmes along with the government bodies to educate the public at the large the benefits and current issues of the subject.

Everyone is cooperative there. There are many associates but Piyush and Subharli both are very helpful, they helped me a lot. In short, I would like to thank both of them to this great opportunity in which I have developed myself both academically, professionally and socially.

In my internship time, I met many prominent ministers like former President Pranab Mukherjee, former VP Md. Hamid Ansari, Kapil Sibal, Ms. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, Kts Tulsi.

  • Office Timings

The timings were flexible there from 9:30 am to 5 pm.

  • Lessons Learnt

Law is a jealous mistress!!!!My three-month was over, I felt that I have really learned a lot .I used to travel 4 hours daily from Greater Noida to reach office which is located in New Delhi because I was residing in Greater Noida .Earlier I used to believe that I was wasting my time. I was looking for a better option. I was thinking to find a PG near my office or planning to drop my internship ASAP. But it was hard leave. So, dropping was not an option. Then I started finding ideas to make best use of my travelling hours.

Earlier, my travelling hours were stressful, during the journey I used to think about my useless hours. Then I started watching videos on my phone like podcast, motivational videos. Yes, we can think like Einstein only if we have nothing to think upon. What do you think like an Einstein? Ask yourself.
