Law Mentor is a comprehensive legal and trusted website for law students. It aims at elevating and promoting all legal events to approach the legal aspirants without any hitch.

Law Mentor began its journey in 2019 with a mission of making legal awareness and legal updates more accurate, transparent and accessible to every common man. Law Mentor has organized test of knowledge, a national level online quiz competition on Constitutional Law and National level essay competition on "social-legal issues in India" that received a tremendous response all over India and we have gathered an ample of participants who are actively in touch with us. Law Mentor has henceforth decided to launch their first edition of online journal to provide a platform to all the legal scholars, students to publish their papers. Also we have our ongoing event is 2nd online Test of Knowledge, a national level quiz competition covering different subjects of law.



Apart from these competitions, we have conducted webinars on the Understanding the aspects of contract drafting and Law as a Career on the 18th and 19th April, 2020 and also conducted numerous events, workshops and webinars in the month of May as a referral to the competitive exams, judgment writing and nuances of CV building.




About the Webinar



Reservation in India is a system of affirmative action that provides representation for historically and currently disadvantaged groups in Indian society in education, employment and politics which is enshrined in article 15 and 16 of the Indian Constitution,


The question that usually arises in the mind of students with respect to reservation can be Can a University or college make religion based reservation? or What are the criteria of reserving seats? or What are the landmark cases on reservation? or Whether the reservation by Universities justified? This webinar is aimed at giving solution to these queries and provide a better understanding of the topic for competitive exams.

Keshav Maheshwari


He is currently into legal practice where he is explicitly dealing in litigation matters on a retainership and he holds a position of 'Senior Litigation Associate Head' at the Chambers of Joel. He consecutively clustered his Independent Practice in Corporate Laws, FEMA, Consumer protection, Constitutional matters, Direct and Indirect tax, Mediation laws, Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Commercial disputes, Trade laws etc. He is also practicing in Supreme Court Delhi High Court, District Courts, Tribunals, Commissions, Forums etc.

The webinar will be conducted in a lecture mode on the topic "Can a University or College make Religion Based Reservation?" and will supplement regular feedback, and interactive sessions.
