About the Moot


Dr. DY Patil College of Law, Navi Mumbai is organising it’s 4th All India Moot Court Competition ‘ LITIGATIONS ‘ to be held from 13th-15th February 2020 at the campus of Dr. D.Y Patil College of Law, Navi Mumbai- 400706.


Moot Problem


The moot problem is based on International Law.


Eligibility


Undergraduate students pursuing 3 or 5-year course of LL.B. degree from any law Schools/College/University recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate.


Team Composition


  • Each team shall consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 members. This number cannot be modified under any circumstances.

  • There shall be 2 speakers and 1 researcher designated in a 3-member team while in case of a 2-member team, both the members shall be considered to be speakers. Teams shall identify the speakers and researcher during registration. No extra member or observer shall be allowed.

  • Every Participating Team will be allotted a team code which will be communicated in due time via email.


Registration Details


  • The last date for registration is 20th January 2020.

  • There shall be a registration fee of Rs. 3,000/- for local teams (within Mumbai) and Rs. 4,000/- for Outside teams (outside Mumbai).

  • Further details are already provided in the brochure. There shall be only one registration per institution.

Clarifications Details


Clarifications can be sought on any part of the moot proposition and must be clear. These clarifications are to be sent via e-mail at dypatil.mootcourt@gmail.com.


It is at the discretion of the Organizing Committee to decide whether a clarification sought for is valid and to be clarified. The clarification e-mails are to be sent on or before a specified date.


Accommodation


Food and Accommodation will be provided to the participating teams throughout the days of the event.
